Barnyard Buddies

Morningside Nature Center allows youngsters with an adult to learn about farm animals while they help staff with the afternoon feeding.  This Living History Farm welcomes the public from 9am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Saturday.  This learning opportunity acquaints visitors about heritage breed farm animals.

Color your life with art because spring has arrived when artists and fine craftsmen booths line NE First Street in downtown Gainesville.  Local artists are joined by fellow artists from all over the country to showcase a vast range of mediums, styles and techniques in two dimensional and three dimensional art.  This much anticipated family friendly festival features two stages for continuous music and a variety of performing arts.  Children will delight with the activities just for them.  The festival offers tasty foods and treats to satisfy your taste buds.

UF Spring Concert – Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Students of the UF Men’s Glee Club and the Women’s Chorale showcase pieces from opera, pop, traditional choir and world music selections.  Contributing to this combined concert musical evening by the UF School of Music is the UF Symphony Orchestra and four faculty members.

Performance time: 7:30 pm.    This is a FREE event.
